Customs Gets New Area Controller

The Nigeria Customs Service, Oyo/Osun Area Command, has formally changed leadership.

Comptroller Gambo Aliyu handed over authority to Comptroller Moses Adewole as the new Area Controller of the Command.

The event held at the command’s headquarters, Ikolaba, ibadan, had in attendance officers, families, friends and colleagues of the two officers.

 The outgoing Controller, Mr Gambo Aliyu handed over a Nigerian flag as a symbol of the reins of the Nigeria Customs Service, Oyo/Osun Area Command to an Ogbomoso-born Customs Officer, Mr Moses Adewole. 

Mr Aliyu attributed the command’s success to synergy among sister security agencies and support from traditional rulers in Oyo and Osun states. 

In his acceptance speech,  the new controller, Mr  Moses Adewole pledged to uphold transparency and professionalism in his discharge of duty. 

He also urged personnel of the Command to maintain diligence and dedication to duty. 

In a message, the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, assured the command of the state’s continuous support towards achieving success in its constitutional roles. 

Meanwhile, some of the Officers used the opportunity to appreciate the outgoing Comptroller Aliyu’s  style of leadership and welcome Mr Adewole to the command, promising to diligently discharge their duties.
