By Adewumi Faniran / Olusola Agboola

The Director-General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr Muhammed Bulama, has warned the public against patronising individuals or groups attempting to sell a parcel of land belonging to the Corporation in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Dr Bulama, in a public warning issued by the Corporation, said the land in question, located along Idi-Ape, Bashorun Road, Ibadan, is an FRCN transmitting station property and is not for sale.

He stressed that the Corporation has not authorised the sale or transfer of the property, describing any such transaction as illegal, unauthorised and null and void.

The FRCN Director General advised members of the public to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of any transaction involving FRCN property with the Corporation’s management before making any payment or commitment.

Dr Bulama further warned that any person found to be involved in the unauthorised sale or transfer of FRCN property will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The Director General urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities relating to FRCN property to the appropriate authorities, while directing further enquiries to the Zonal Director, Ibadan.
