Association of Women Town Planners, Oyo State Chapter, has sought collaboration with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station to educate the public on the procedure of lands and property acquisition as well as planning.
The indication emerged when executive members of the association, paid a courtesy call on the Zonal Director of FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Olufemi Fulani.
Led by the Chairperson of the Association, Mrs Ibiyinka Oladiran explained that collaborating with the station would enable the body to achieve its objectives.
Mrs Oladiran congratulated the new Zonal Director, FRCN,lbadan, on his appointment saying the association believed in the power of Radio Nigeria as a credible broadcasting platform.
Responding, the Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Olufemi Fulani,who appreciated the Women’s Forum for the visit, pledged that the station’s readiness to support the association’s mandate.
Mr Fulani urged the Association to sustain its good name in the society, irrespective of the challenges facing the profession, saying the Association should not hesitate to bring any of its sponsored programmes to the station.
Highpoint of the visit was presentation of gift by the Association of Women Town Planners to the Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station.
