The Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade has expressed determination of his ministry to collaborate with The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan to further project the activities and achievements of the state government for better understanding by members of the public.
Prince Oyelade stated this during a visit by the management of FRCN to his office, ministry of information, secretariat, in Ibadan.

The commissioner noted that the two institutions had an age long history of existence adding that the coming together for collaboration is apt and timely.
Pince Oyelade said Oyo state had made laudable achievements in terms of road network rehabilitation within and outside Ibadan, recruitments of over 2,000 workers to complement state workforce and improvement of security in the state through the procurement of 287 patrol vehicles complemented by 2,471 motorbikes.
Prince Oyelade said FRCN also possesses staff training institutions in broadcast journalism which he said would equally be useful to his ministry.
Earlier in his address, the Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan Zonal station, Mr Olufemi Fulani said his visit to the commissioner was meant to seek areas of collaboration with the vision of propagating the landmark progress made by the governor Seyi Makinde’s administration in Oyo State.

Mr Fulani said Radio Nigeria through its FM stations spread across the Southwest zone was in a better position to project Oyo State to the general public within and outside the state.

On the entourage of the zonal director during the visit were, Deputy Director news and current affairs department, FRCN, Ibadan zonal station , Mr Adewumi Faniran, Deputy Director of Finance, FRCN,Ibadan zonal station, Mr James Amole, head of internal audit FRCN Ibadan, Mrs Elizabeth Dada and her counterpart Head of Corporate Development and Communication, Mr Steve Agbaje.
