The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station has commiserated with the Onafurume’s family on the demise of a retired Deputy Director, Programmes of the station, Mr Gabriel Onafurume.
The Zonal Director, Mr Olufemi Fulani convened the commiseration when he led management team of the zone on a condolence visit to the residence of the deceased in Ibadan.
Mr Fulani, who expressed sadness over the demise of Mr Onafurume, said the deceased was a god-fearing man who lived an exemplary life.
He prayed that God would comfort the wife and children, as well as, other family members on the unfortunate development.
Mr Gabriel Onafurume, aged 65, died on Sunday at his Kasumu residence in Ibadan during a protracted illness.
He is survived by wife, children and grandchildren.
Meanwhile, burial arrangements will be announced later by the family.
