The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the killing of a man, Kolade Eluyera, by suspected gunmen in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Abiodun Ojelabi, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, said that the deceased was found with gunshot wounds after the incident was reported at the Ikire Divisional Police Headquarters in the early hours of Saturday.
Mr. Ojelabi explained that the police had commenced investigation into the incident and assured members of the public that the killers would be arrested.
