The Speakers emphasized the need to strengthen local government administration and review the Harmonised Standing Orders of South-West legislatures to ensure uniformity in legislative procedures.

On regional security, the Conference commended the South-West Security Network, Amotekun, for its operational gains and recommended the creation of Post-Legislative Scrutiny Units in all state assemblies to assess the effectiveness of critical laws, including those establishing Amotekun and banning open grazing.
