Curbing the increase in health and security challenges in the country was the major agenda at a sensitization programme held for members of the public in Ibadan.

The programme organized by the Oyo State Directorate of National Orientation Agency, NOA, had speakers from different security agencies and medical personnel

Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr Shina Olukolu represented by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Fransis Ojomo stressed the need for communities to synergize on security to complement the effort of the police.

Mr. Ojomo said Nigerians should not only be religious but must be security conscious.

Representative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Mr Sheu Umoh, who attributed get rich quick syndrome as a factor responsible to the vandalism of public property, said such act does more harm to members of the public.

Earlier in an address, Oyo State Director, NOA, Mrs Dolapo Dosunmu, expressed worry over the recent spate of vandalism of the newly constructed rail line, describing it as an act wickedness.
