Accreditation and voting have commenced at Polling Unit 43 Ward 11 in Ibadan North Local Government.

Voters were seen in the queue in an orderly manner as they passed through the preliminary stages before they eventually cast their ballots.

Two of the voters Dr Basir Olanrewaju and Alhaji Bidemi Siyanbade commended INEC on the use of BVAS for accreditation 

Meanwhile, at Polling Unit 7 ward 5, the polling unit officers are experiencing hard times with the device due to poor network signal but later contacted the INEC supervisor for rectification.

However, in some polling units of Ibadan North West voting seems to have been concluded as there was no single voter sighted on the queue.

Health

Minister of State of Health, Dr Olorunibe Mamora has canvassed the need for public private partnership in the health sector.

Dr Mamora made the call in Ibadan at the presentation of accreditation certificate to access basic health care foundation, ABC.

The Minister explained that when there is partnership, health,sector would provide adequate care for all.

 Dr Mamora who congratulated the founder of abc, Dr Forence Ajimobi on her achievement presented her with  I.S.O 15189  2012 laboratory  accredtation certificate, said the laboratory  was the second in Oyo State to have been presented such an accreditation.

 Director General, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, Professor Mojisola Adeyeye noted that having I.S.O certification  was as a result of the laboratory embracing quality culture

The Chief Medical Director, U.C.H Ibadan, Professor  Jesse Otegbayo represented by Deputy Director, Chief Medical Advisory Committee, Dr Oluwatoyin lawal observed that the clinical acumen is crucial for diagnosis and treatment .

Earlier, the founder of ABC, Dr Florence Ajimobi said she was moved to establish the laboratory due to the experience she had when her husband was a Governor in Oyo State.

I.S.O, 15189 laboratory certification represents the minimum requirement operating medical laboratory should adhere to.
