The Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, Oyo/Osun Command, has generated Four hundred and sixty-eight million Naira within 17 days. 

The Command’s Area Comptroller, Mr Johnson Adelaja stated this at a news briefing held at the headquarters of the command in Ikolaba, Ibadan, Oyo State. 

Adelaja said the money was generated from confiscated items including used clothes, shoes, compressors, premium motor spirit, cannabis sativa and some trucks.

He reiterated that the command would not relent in its fight against smuggling and illicit trade in the Oyo and Osun States.

On the confiscated truck, the controller urged owners to install trackers on their vehicles to monitor the activities of their employees who may want to engage in using the trucks for unauthorized purposes.
