Nigeria has recorded 790 new cases of the COVID-19 infections bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 26,484.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in a tweet via its official handle announced that so far 10,152 patients have been discharged while 603 have died.

According to the NCDC, Delta state has the highest number of infections at 166, followed by Lagos with 120, Enugu 66 while the Federal Capital Territory recorded 65.

Nigeria has confirmed 348 new cases of COVID-19.

Confirming the cases on its official Twitter handle, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC stated that 163 of the cases are in Lagos,  FCT-76 Ebonyi-23 Rivers-21 Delta-8 Nasarawa-8 Niger-8 Enugu-6 Bauchi-5 Edo-5 Ekiti-5 Ondo-5 Gombe-5 Benue-4 Ogun-2 Osun-1 Plateau-1 Kogi-1 Anambra-1

With the latest addition, the number of confirmed cases has hit 11166 in the country with 3329 discharged and 315 deaths.
