The Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission, EKSIEC, has released time table for the council poll in the state.
EKSIEC chairman, Retired Justice Jide Aladejana announced this in a statement issued on Friday in Ado Ekiti.
Justice Aladejana said the council poll would be held on Saturday the 7th of December this year.
He advised all political parties willing to participate in the council poll to come to EKSIEC office to obtain their forms.

The Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission, EKSIEC has ordered immediate removal of all campaign banners and posters displayed at strategic locations by intending aspirants ahead of the December council polls in the state.
EKSIEC Commissioner in charge of Media and Publicity, Chief Soji Oloketuyi gave the order in a statement in Ado Ekiti.
The statement observes that it is not yet time to display such campaign materials and it contravenes electoral act.
It says the Commission remains committed to conducting free and fair Local Government election.
EKSIEC also promises to provide a level playing grounds for all parties in the state.
The tenure of the democratically elected council chairmen in the eight local governments and the coordinating directors in another eight council areas will end in December this year.
