A man presumed to be in his 50s has been feared dead while queuing to buy petrol at a filling station in Oluyole Estate.

The man, whose identity is unknown, suspected to be an Alhaji was sitting on his steering with one leg on the pedal and the other on the ground with his door open.

Narrating the incident, the manager of the station, Mr Joseph said other customers in the queue were calling on the man to move his car when they realized that he was not responding.

Mr Joseph said the case was reported to the police, and his body was taken away.

The man’s car with the Number plate AKD 878GP was still at the Filling station at the time of filing in this report.

A petrol laden tanker has been gutted by fire at a filling station in Basorun area of Ibadan.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the tanker was ignited while dispensing it’s content at the filling station.
Consequently,motorists and commuters along the route had hectic time reaching their destination .
Some passersby who spoke with Radio,said the quick intervention of men of the State and Federal fire services prevented loss of lives and damages to property around the site of the incident.
They commended the driver of the tanker for deploying his expertise to drive the tanker out if the filling station to prevent greater havoc.
As at the time of filling this report, the fire has been put out while normalcy is gradually returning to the area
This is the second fire incident occuring at filling stations this week in Ibadan.
