Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, has dispelled the insinuation that disparity exists among the security agencies in Nigeria.

General Irabor disclosed this during his visit with other service chiefs to the Nigerian Army 2 Division Headquarters, Ibadan.

The other service chiefs in company of Irabor are the Chief of Army Staff(COAS), Lt.Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao.

General Irabor said the visit of the service chiefs was to demonstrate leadership by example, adding that the situation of the county demands that the armed forces work together.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari has directed them to ensure they bring peace and security to the country within few weeks in conjunction with other security agencies.

Irabor said the security chiefs had received briefing from the General Commanding Officer (GOC) on what all the armed forces were doing in the command collectively in ensuring that the President’s directive come into reality.

The chief of defence staff commended the officers for what they had been doing so far and charged them not rest on their oars and ensure that they overcame the security challenges in the country.
