Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun says his administration would soon begin the reconstruction of Ita-Oshin-Ayetoro road.

Governor Abiodun who made this known while inaugurating the seven kilometers Ibooro-Imasayi-Ayetoro road in Yewa North Local Government Area of the state, said reconstruction of the federal road was necessary to alleviate the sufferings of the motorists passing through the road.

Governor Abiodun urged the traditional ruler, youths, and all residents in the community to take ownership of the road.

The governor also said that his administration would make Ogun West Senatorial District the “food basket” of the state and the country at large by establishing Rice Development and Rice Processing Center in Yewa North and Imeko Afon Local government.

In a remark, the Olu of Ilaro and paramount ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle who commended the governor for his passion and commitment to develop all parts of the state, urged him to complete phase two of the 21 kilometers Ibooro-Imasayi-Ayetoro road.
