In a stunning twist that has sent waves across the Nigerian entertainment scene, Nollywood power couple Lateef Adedimeji and Adebimpe Oyebade have welcomed a set of male triplets—bringing an emotional close to five years of public scrutiny and private anguish.

The announcement arrived not just as joyful news, but as a powerful rebuttal to years of speculation and online trolling over the couple’s perceived childlessness—criticism that Adedimeji had previously addressed, firmly urging critics to respect their privacy.

Earlier this year, the couple also weathered another storm when unfounded rumours surfaced alleging the actor had taken a second wife—a claim that was swiftly debunked.

Now, in a moment that blends vindication with overwhelming joy, the proud father took to X (formerly Twitter) via his handle @TheDimejiLateef to share the life-changing news in deeply personal terms:

’’I’ve been quiet…..not absent.
I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life.
God gave me more than I prayed for: a woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own.
My world, My responsibility, My legacy.
Alhamdulilah!.”

The heartfelt revelation has since ignited an outpouring of congratulations from fans and colleagues alike, marking a triumphant chapter for one of Nollywood’s most admired couples.
