Two persons kidnapped last weekend in Ode Ekiti, Gbonyin Local Government have regained freedom.

Spokesperson for the Nigeria Police, Ekiti State Command, Mr Sunday Abutu made this known to Radio Nigeria in Ado Ekiti.

Mr Abutu confirmed that the victims were released unharmed at about noon on Thursday.

The victims, including a senior officer of government agency, were abducted last Saturday in Ode Ekiti by unknown gunmen while a driver was shot during the abduction.
