Pastor Joseph Adepeko of The blood of Jesus Apostolic Church Worldwide, Oke Itunu, Ibadan, has stressed the need for Christians to give more to the less-privileged around them.

Pastor Adepeko said this during the Christmas service of the church.

According to the cleric, Christians must render praises to God by sharing food items and gifts to those who are in need.

He enjoined Christians to be modest in their celebration. 

Also, the Pastor in charge of Mount Horeb Anointed Church of Christ, Sango, Ibadan, Pastor Mathew Adebisi, has advised Christians to always celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ at all times

Pastor Adebisi said as Christians, the birth of Jesus Christ which symbolises love, care and the spirit of giving must be showcased in their daily activities, not only during Christmas.

Pastor Adebisi advised Nigerians to observe all COVID-19 protocols as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Rule with the fear of God – Pastor Adepeko charges leaders

As Nigeria celebrates sixty years of its independence, the Minister-in-charge of Blood of Jesus Apostolic Church, Oke Itunu, Ibadan, Pastor Joseph Adepeko has called on the nation’s leaders to always seek the face of God in the running of affairs of the country.

Pastor Adepeko said this at a special programme tagged “Praise your God, oh ye nations”.

According to the cleric, Nigerian leaders need to be upright and have the fear of God while steering the affairs of the country.

Speaking on the theme of the event “Praise For Fulfillment’”, the convener of the programme, Pastor Felix Matthew stated that giving praises to God during trying periods open doors of breakthroughs faster and stressed the need for Nigerians to praise God at all times.

Some members of the church, Deacon Oyekunle Emmanuel, Mrs Eniola Ayoola and Deaconess Eunice Kolade could not hide their joy on the sixtieth anniversary of the nation’s independence.

The four hours programme featured drama ministration on the nation’s independence anniversary and various songs renditions to commemorate Nigeria at sixty.
