Nigerians have been encouraged to be sensitive to any issue that may lead to depression.

State Coordinator Oyo State Primary Healthcare Board, Mrs Abodunrin Funmilayo stated this while reflecting on the occasion of Mental health day.

She expressed worry that the present economic situation could pose many challenges including health.

Mrs Abodunrin who noted that Nigerians should be their brothers’ keeper by noticing any sign of withdrawal in their neighbours, urged them to render necessary support to anyone displaying features of depression.

On his part, founder of a non-governmental organisation Good workers ministry international, Pastor Tunji Agboola said mental issues we’re not meant to be handled with kid gloves, urging stakeholders to do all within their resources it ensure the health situation was reduced to the bearest minimum.
