The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, codenamed So-Safe Corps, has arrested two men for burgling and stealing in a residential building. 

A  statement issued by the office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander , Mr Soji Ganzallo through  the Director, Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander , Mr Moruf Yusuf said the suspects, Toyeeb Yekini and Ajie Victor were intercepted on motorbike. 

Mr Ganzallo said the arrest was made possible  by officers of the corps in Ado-Odo/Ota Zonal Command under Mr Tajudeen Odunmbaku on information deployed its men to Agoro community to counter burglary activities in progress in the axis. 

The Commander added that the apprehended suspects confessed to  had visited the  area almost two hours before the current burglary took place and stole a 7.5kva alternator diesel generator put off by the suspects while in use,saying the  generator had been recovered from where it was kept at Ilepa in Ifo Local Government Area. 

He explained that the apprehended suspects confessed further that they decided to return to carry out the second criminal act to steal a petrol generator in the same generator room before they were stopped on the road by officers of the corps. 

Mr Ganzallo stated that the suspects and the exhibits have been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Sango Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation.

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps also known as So-Safe Corps has arrested a suspect during a naming ceremony for allegedly possessing arms and live ammunition.

The suspect, Segun Oke popularly referred to as Bouncing was arrested after the residents of Ilukosi  Olorunda town, Iro in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area alerted the Corps Area Command that suspects might be planning to carry out a criminal act.

The State Commander of So-Safe Corps, Dr. Soji Ganzallo, confirmed the arrest of the suspect in a statement through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf. 

Mr Ganzallo noted that the suspect who had been alleged to be threatening the peace of the Ilukosi community and its environment was apprehended while attempting to hide the double-mouthed locally made pistol, including live and used ammunition in his possession in the bush.

He said one double-mouthed locally made pistol, two live and one used cartridges were recovered from the suspect.

Mr Ganzallo pointed out that the suspect had been handed over to the Nigeria Police, Iro Police Post for onward transfer to Owode-Egba Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and prosecution.
