The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi says attacks on police officers and their facilities is an invitation to anarchy.

Oba Akanbi stated this while receiving the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 11, Olasupo Ajani in his palace.

According to the monarch, no section of a nation’s security is guaranteed in an unfriendly environment with security operatives.

Oba Akanbi said the frequent harassment and intimidation of the security men could jeopardize economic stability.

He urged the government to consider recruiting more youths into security services and increase security operatives’ salaries.
