Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde says his administration is aware of the significance of the circular road project, promising to expedite action on its speed completion to improve the economic status of the state.

He stated this while receiving the delegation from the Four Square Church in his office.

Governor Makinde said the 32 kilometer road would not only improve the economy of the state but ease the movement within the South West region.

Governor Makinde however noted that it was the first time a governor would be elected in the state without godfathers, saying the development was making governance easier for his administration.

He pointed out that godfathers in the state were already strategizing, declaring that his government would make their plans difficult.

In a remark, the General Overseer of the Four Square Church, Reverend Philips Meduye said the visit was to congratulate the governor on his victory at the poll, and in preparation to the taking over of the 5th general overseer of the church, Reverend Sam Aboyeji.

The delegation later prayed for the success of governor Seyi Makinde-led administration.
