In fulfillment of his electioneering promises, Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has inaugurated the newly renovated and equipped theatre, Radio-imaging, and Medical Laboratory Department of Adeoyo State Hospital, Ring Road Ibadan.
Inaugurating the new facilities, Governor Makinde said the medical laboratory project was completed to ensure that the state hospital served the people better.
Governor Makinde noted that an institution that is built, staffed, and equipped for the diagnosis of disease, treatment of both medical and surgical of the sick must be made modern to serve as a centre for research and teaching.
Similarly, the governor commissioned the newly renovated Oranyan Primary Health Center, Ibadan
In another development, Governor Makinde flagged-off modern street light project worth #1.7bn across Ibadan metropolis.
According to the governor, the project tagged “Light up Ibadan” is to improve the security and socio-economic of the state, and will be completed within 45 days.
