Oyo state government has approved the sum of nine point nine billion naira for the construction of Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road.

The Commissioner for Works and Transportation, Professor Raphael Afonja disclosed this in Ibadan while briefing newsmen after an executive council meeting. 

Professor Afonja who explained that the duration of work would be twelve months pointing out that necessary input that would enhance the quality of work had been included in the contract.

The Commissioner for Education, Professor Dawud Sangodoyin also said the government has approved free distribution of hundred thousand copies of past examination questions compendium for students of both public and private schools to enhance performances in Senior School Certificate Examinations, SSCE.

Professor Sangodoyin said the free compendium distribution exercise would gulp over one hundred and seventy million naira adding that the government had also approved e-training and various forms of capacity building for teachers.
