The Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan zonal station, Alhaji Muhammed Bello has charged content providers on the need to be well informed of happenings around them as this will distinguish them from their pairs and ensure excellence.
He gave this advice at the end of a two day programme planning conference, held at Premier FM, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
Alhaji Bello, who noted that dynamism and flexibility are two major traits for a content provider to remain outstanding, stressed the need for synergy among members of staff to making Radio Nigeria a choice station with interesting programmes and presentation.
He said, considering the keen competition in the broadcast industry and the recent approval of new radio stations nationwide, efforts must be made to improve production on Radio Nigeria, Ibadan airwaves and the Corporation’s online media.
While urging members to remain steadfast in their duties, the Zonal Director promised management’s commitment to training and retraining of staff, and added that efforts are currently being made to upgrade and replace equipment in some FM stations in the southwest.
