Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has imposed on the state an immediate and indefinite dusk to dawn curfew from 7pm to 7am
The measure came up after the Ondo State Executive Council and the Committee on Covid-19 reviewed cases of the virus in the state.
The third case was confirmed by the state government on Monday.
According to Governor Akeredolu, the new case is a Medical Practitioner resident with the Nigerian Army Clinic at the Owena Cantonment in Akure.
He explained that government had to come up with stricter measures upon discoveries that business owners especially beer joints had been disobeying the stay at home order.
