Six coronavirus patients from the Ogun State Isolation Centre in Ikenne, have been discharged after testing negative to the virus twice.

A statement by the state government through the Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Mr. Ojo Emmanuel hints that the six patients have since joined their families to continue living their normal lives.

The statement says the new discharged have brought the number of those discharged in Ogun to twenty.

Mr Ojo also announced that four new confirmed cases were identified by the NCDC, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Ogun State to ninety five.

The statement also explains that seventy three cases are currently active receiving specialized care in isolation centres across the state.

The state government through the Ministry of Health expressed hope that more patients would be discharged and urged the general public to continue to maintain social distancing and ensure the use of facemasks while in public.
