Efforts ongoing to develop traditional cure for Covid-19 – Gov. Akeredolu

Ondo State Government says efforts are ongoing to develop a traditional cure for Covid-19 pandemic.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu disclosed this while addressing newsmen at the Government House in Akure, the state capital. 

Governor Akeredolu attributed the steps to several failed attempts from different quarters, maintaining that the state government could finally achieve the aim.

Observing that the curve was not yet flattened going by statistics from the NCDC, Governor Akeredolu implored residents to abide by all rules put in place to contain the deadly virus

Mr Akeredolu advised the residents to guard against importation and community transmission of the disease by reporting suspected cases and strange faces to appropriate quarters, adding that Covid-19 could be successfully treated when detected early.
