The Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory, LSMTL, is set to commence a Non-Destructive Integrity Test (NDT) on selected Public Schools in the State, as part of government’s efforts to forestall the collapse of buildings in the State.
In a statement, the General Manager, LSMTL, Dr. Abiodun Afolabi, explained that the NDT is expected to assess the stability and integrity of 25 selected Primary and Secondary Schools buildings to ensure the safety of pupils, students and staff of such Public Schools.
Dr. Afolabi announced that the NDT will commence on Monday, 22nd of June, 2020, at Omole Senior Secondary School, Omole, Lagos State
