Prayer has been identified as a necessary spiritual exercise to sustain peace and stem the tide of unusual occurrences in Oyo State.
The founder, Victory International Church, Rehoboth Cathedral, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun stated this during prayers for indigenes of Ibadan at the Popoyemoja palace of Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji.
Bishop Adelakun lamented that about seven prominent indigenes of Ibadan had passed on from January till date.
The cleric noted that the prayer was organized to restore joy and peace to Oyo State.
Reacting, the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji appreciated the effort of the founder of Victory International Church, Rehoboth Cathedral, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun in offering prayers for the sons and daughters of the state.
Premier F.M correspondent observed that participants complied with Covid-19 rules on physical distancing and wearing of face masks.
