Emeritus Prof Faniran: Lying-in-State Holding at University of Ibadan

Burial arrangement for a professor of Geography, Emeritus Professor Adetoye Faniran has commenced with lying-in-state at the University of Ibadan.

Our correspondent reports that friends, members of the family and colleagues have continued to pay their last respect.

In a tribute, Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Professor Abel Olayinka described the late academia as a teacher par excellence.

Daughter of the deceased, Mrs Tola Oladeji described her dad as an exceptional person.

Emeritus professor Adetoye Faniran died on 24th of June 2020 at the age of 85.
