Christians have been reminded to live a purposeful life without which life would be meaningless.

President of Nigerian Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, Reverend Eniola Niyilola stated this at the burial ceremony of a renowned Emeritus Professor of geography, Adetoye Faniran.

Reverend Niyilola said that once the purpose of life after discovery has been achieved, that is true definition of meaningful life.

Reverend Niyilola urged all to live with end time in mind.

Similarly, Reverend Julius Okanlawon of Bodija Estate Baptist Church, advised all to emulate Emeritus Professor Faniran who was a professional in both academic and religious matters.

Wife of the deceased, Mrs Adewuni Faniran said she would miss her husband for his good works.

In a tribute, Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Professor Abel Olayinka described the late academia as a teacher par excellence.

Daughter and sister of the deceased, Mrs Tola Oladeji and Mrs Eyitayo Oloko-Faniran described him as an exceptional person.

Emeritus Professor Adetoye Faniran died on 24th of June 2020 at the age of eighty-five.
