Osun State Government has disclosed plans to arraign a policewoman,
who allegedly maltreated her six-year-old stepdaughter.

Osun State Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Affairs, Mrs
Bukola Olaboopo made this known to newsmen in Osogbo.

Mrs Olaboopo said government was “convinced about the maltreatment of
the subject, an action contrary to the provisions of the child rights
law of the state.”

She warned that violation of the child rights law in the state was a
criminal offence, adding that the suspect would be charged to court.

Mrs Olaboopo added that the present administration led by Mr Gboyega
Oyetola has zero tolerance for rape, child molestation, child labour
