A new Commissioner of Police has been posted to Nigeria Police, Ogun State Command.
He is CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun.
Ajogun, a former Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations in Ogun State gained promotion to the rank of Commissioner and was posted to Police Medical Services, Falomo, Lagos, as Commissioner of Police Administration from where he is returning to Ogun State as the new Commissioner of Police.
A graduate of Political Science from the University of Ibadan, the new CP joined the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1988, and has worked in various capacities across the length and breadth of the country.
A statement by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi shows that the new CP is distinguished within the Police Force as a very brilliant officer that is hardworking and a good detective with very high integrity.
