Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has signed the Revised 2020 Appropriation Bill into law.

Speaking at his Oke Mosan Abeokuta office after signing the revised budget which was reduced from N449.97billion to N280billion, Governor Abiodun promised to pay attention to the health sector, education, infrastructure and other sectors for overall development of the state.

He gave the assurance that the revised budget would be fully implemented for the benefit of the people of the state.

While pointing out that the budget was reviewed as a result of  adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Abiodun explained that his administration would fix the inadequacies in the health sector towards providing quality health care services for the people of the state.

Earlier, the Speaker House of Assembly, Mr Olakunle Oluomo explained that relevant stakeholders were engaged in the course of amending the Bill and expressed optimism that the revised budget would make life more comfortable for the people of the state.
