Ekiti State Executive Council has approved the appointment of Prince Adesoye Williams Ayodeji, as the new Elepe of Epe-Ekiti, in Ijero Local Government Area.

The council gave the approval at its 15th virtual meeting presided over by Governor Kayode Fayemi.

The Commissioner for Information and Value Orientation, Mr Muyiwa Olumilua said in a statement in Ado Ekiti that Prince Adesoye Ayodeji was chosen among the prospective candidates presented by the kingmakers from Arowosapo Ruling House.

The immediate past Elepe, Oba Emmanuel Agbeleoba from Ogodulose ruling house joined his ancestors in November 2018.
