Desist from being enemies of progress, Gov. Makinde tells politicians

Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde says he is not moved by the actions of some individuals or groups threatening to chase him out of the office.

He stated this at the 8th-Day Fidau Prayer of late Aare Ago of Ibadanland, Chief Lere Adigun who died last week.

Governor Makinde denied alleged Christianization and religious imbalance in his administration, noting that all the appointments made by him were based on merit without bias on tribe, race, or religion.

The governor advised some politicians bent on frustrating the goodwill of his administration to desist from being enemies of progress.
