FG Special Public Works: Applicants in Ibadan Protest Lack of Access to Form

As the two-day recruitment process initiated by the Federal Government comes to an end today, prospective applicants who could not obtain the form have lamented their inability to do so.

Our correspondent, who monitored the exercise in some local governments where the recruitment forms were to be collected, reported that youths and married women arrived early and waited all day without getting the form.

At Akinyele, Ibadan North and Ibadan Southwest Local Government, the prospective applicants who were frustrated told Radio Nigeria that the process was allegedly taken over by politicians

The scenario took another dimension at Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Onireke, as aggrieved youth who could not obtain the form embarked on protest to Radio Nigeria to register their grievances

They appealed to government to review the scheme so as to exclude them in the recruitment programme.
