The President, Women and Girls Organization, Ijesa North Anglican
Diocese, Mrs Magaret Oluyamo has stressed the need for empowerment of
women and youth through acquisition of vocational skill.

Mrs Oluyamo stated this in an interview with Gold FM in Ilesa.

She called on government at all levels to prioritize skill acquisition
among women and youths to reduce their level of dependency.

While advising youths to look beyond acquiring certificate, Mrs Oluyamo
noted that vocational skills would go a long way in making them
self-reliance.

She also urged parents to monitor the movement of their children and
warn them against keeping bad companies.
