Vice president, Southwest, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Mr.Seun Ajayi-Obe has again flagged the activities of some individuals who have been using the name of the association to misinform and swindle people in Oyo state.
This is contained in a statement issued in Ibadan.
According to the statement, some unscrupulous people who had lost membership of the association are still parading themselves as members and are still holding illegal meetings to cause confusion in the state.
The statement notes that SWAN is a registered body which has its structure across the country and will not allow mischief makers to soil its name.
While noting that Olaolu Fawole led executive is the recognized SWAN in Oyo state, the statement notes that SWAN National body has pledged to ensure that all impostors are made to face the wrath of the law.
The statement urges the public to disregard all activities of the impostors.
