Oyo NSCDC Appeals to the Public to Stop Attack On Security Operatives
The Oyo State Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps has Cautioned Members of the Public against Assaulting Officers providing Cover for other Agencies in the State.
He Condemn the attack on the Personnel of the Corps today at the Command Headquaters Agodi Ibadan by Occupant of Gbangbalolounwa Complex, Idi Ope, Imolefalafia Oke Ado Ibadan who refuses to pay taxes Assault Members of Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue. Our Officers in Uniform who try to make Peace among them were attacked with Plank by one of the occupant of the complex.
One of the Officer was rushed to Kejide Specialist Hospital Opposite Iyanaafani Hospital to receive treatment from the injuries Sustained during the attack before Rescue team could arrived the Scene. It is High time people stop Weilding emotional sentiment in order to Crucify the Security Operatives.
Men of NSCDC were train to be Civil and Professional in their approach with Courtesy and good Human relations.
We Implore the good people of Oyo State to always give necessary assistance to Men of NSCDC who are out to carry out their services by Securing Lives and Property of the Populace.
Every Community should Cooperate with NSCDC Officers to ensure a safe Society, we must discourage people who are fighting against Government Policy or giving false information but embrace peace & fairness with fear of God.
NSCDC humbly appeal to members of the society to discourage from attacking security operative as they are there to protect the society’s interest.
NSCDC will no Longer Condole any act of violence attack against it’s Personnel because the Officers have Family, they are Fathers, Mothers and children to some people too. “Do not discourage and demoralize people who have given their Lives to Serve their Nations” He appeal.
The State Commandant use the Medium to appreciate Nigeria Union of Journalist and all the Media in Oyo State for good work they are doing and Implore them to verify information from NSCDC before publish especially anything that can tarnish the good Image of the Corps.
