To consolidate on electoral success in the nation, the electorate in Ondo State must know that a single life lost is too much a price to pay for an election whose term will be renewed in less than four years period.
National Chairman, Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Dr Leonard Nzenwa made the remark while addressing newsmen in Akure on the importance of voters sensitization towards Ondo State gubernatorial election coming up this weekend.
Dr Nzenwa, who harped on the sacredness of human life, charged would -be voters that only the living could vote in any election, noting that the people of Ondo State must shun garrison politics that characterized 1983 electoral process in the state.
He condemned in strong term the shooting over the last weekend along Oba Adesida road and Oba Nla areas in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
According to the IPAC chairman, security agencies must be at the top of their job and be ready to deal with anyone who planned to cause trouble on Saturday no matter how highly placed such could be in the state.
