Intercity movement across Ogun has become difficult following the activities of demonstrators in different parts of the state.
The demonstrators blocked major roads in Ijebu Ode, Ota and Abeokuta leaving many commuters stranded while workers had to trek long distances to get to work and commercial motorcyclists were making brisk businesses.
Radio Nigeria observed that Security agencies were positioned at strategic locations to check a breach of the peace.
Some residents, including Oreoluwa Joy and Akinbayo Damilola who commended the cooperation of the state command of the Nigeria police since inception of the protest appealed to the government to ensure the provision good roads and basic amenities to make life more meaningful for citizens.
