Super Eagles of Nigeria were forced to a 4-4 draw by Sierra Leone in an AFCON 2021 qualifier played at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin.

Everton forward, Alex Iwobi put the Eagles ahead in the 4th minute and the lead was extended in the 21st minute by Napoli’s record signing, Victor Osimhen.

Alex Iwobi fired his brace in the 27th minute before Samuel Chukwueze made it 4 for the Super Eagles in the 29th minute.

The Eagle’s scintillating start to the game was however marred by a 41st minute strike by Kwame Quee as the first half ended 4-1.

Sierra Leone were the better team in the second half as they scored in the 72nd, 80th and 86th minutes to force a deserved 4-4 draw.
