Former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has called for mutual trust and confidence among political parties on Ghana in the electoral process ahead of the December 7 general election in the country.


Chief Obasanjo in a statement made available in Abeokuta urged both the NPP and NDC to ensure the peace and stability of the West African country.


The former chairman of the African Union (AU), also prayed that the country be the winner irrespective of the party that wins the election, noting that the continent would count on the parties’ patrotism during and after the election.
