Five people have died while one person sustained injury in a crash that occurred on Lagos- Ibadan expressway.
Spokesman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi who confirmed the incident, explained that a truck and a jeep were involved in the crash.
Mr Akinbiyi explained that both vehicles were bound for Lagos from Ibadan when the propeller of the truck detached on motion and the truck fell sideways on the Jeep, killing its five occupants while the truck driver sustained injury.
He commiserated with the families of the deceased and advised owners of articulated vehicles to be safety conscious and uphold necessary safety measures on the roads.
