Ogun State Government has banned crossover services to usher in the New Year in all worship centres across the state.
The state Commissioner for information and Strategy, Alhaji Waheed Odusile announced this while speaking with Radio Nigeria in Abeokuta.
Alhaji Odusile, who said that the decision was made following a meeting government had with religious leaders in the state, urged all worshipers to adhere to the stay-at-home order or make use of the social media platforms for their services.
While pointing out that the state government had also suspended street carnivals and parties in the state, the Commissioner called for restraints during the New Year celebration.
