Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has called for the support and cooperation of traditional rulers in preventing the spread of second wave of COVID -19 in the state.
Governor Abiodun make the call while declaring open the statutory meeting of Ogun State Council of Obas held at Obas Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
While commending the traditional rulers for their support during the first wave of the virus, Governor Abiodiun urged the royal fathers to continue to ensure that their respective domains were protected from the pandemic.
Governor Abiodun also commended the royal fathers for their unrelenting support and counsels to his administration and gave the assurance that the state government would continue to make it a point of duty to consult the monarchs for advice and guidance.
He pointed out that his administration would ensure that efforts of the traditional rulers in development and progress of the state were duly rewarded.
