Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde wants people and residents of the state to support the government in the fight against all forms of insecurity in the state.
He stated this at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Aremo, Ibadan during a special service organized in commemorating the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration.
The governor who spoke through Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun stressed the need for people to always make information in their domains available to help the government arrest the security situation in the state.
Governor Makinde also enjoined the people to sustain the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic by complying with the given protocols.
In a sermon entitled ” Lack of Patriotism, the bane of Nigeria Development”, the Provost, Cathedral of St. Peters, Aremo, Ibadan, Very Reverend Wale Adebiyi called on Nigerians to be more patriotic for the country to be a great nation.
