Ogun State Government has concluded arrangements to install Close Circuit Television, CCTV, at strategic locations across the State.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Retired AIG Olusola Subair made this known While playing host to the National Economic Council Implementation Committee team in his Office in Abeokuta
Retired AIG Subair who pointed out that the CCTV would be installed especially in border areas to monitor security threats, said the State government was also planning to establish three security control centres in the state.
He also explained that the state government had taken proactive steps to ensure a seamless and harmonious working relationship between its security outfit code name “Amotekun” and other conventional security agencies.
Retired AIG Subair said that the fund for the purchasing of necessary equipment and security gadgets, as well as patrol vehicles for the security outfit was drawn from the pool of the Ogun State Security Trust Fund
